1. This is a complete masala movie with comedy, song, dance, romance, fight, sentiment.
2. The story’s base is Science Fiction – but it is a science fiction masala.
3. That means, do not expect a complete Sci-Fi genre movie like Terminator. But expect a movie like Avatar. (Indian version of Avatar).
4. It has all the ingredients to make it attractive to children, youngsters, family members, ladies and Rajini’s mass audience.
5. The last 45 – 50 minutes will be a celebration for Rajini fans.
6. The animations are never before seen in Indian cinema and takes Indian cinema to next level in terms of visual effects and animations – but it will not be comparable with hollywood animation flicks. So lower your expectations.
7. The stunt sequences are again, the best in Indian cinema, but definitely not up to Hollywood standards.
8. He was sure that the movie will be liked by Hindi audience too.
9. He was absolutely sure that Rajini’s performance as the villain will win him a National Award.
10. He was also sure that A.R. Rahman will win next year’s National Award for BGM.
11. He said that the climax Symphony based BGM by Rahman is worth even Grammy awards.

Endhiran US rights was acquired by FICUS Movies, a U.S. based production house has acquired the rights of both Tamil and Telugu version for a whooping amount of nearly Rs.35 Crores.
According to the trade reports, the producers of Endhiran are likely to take a cakewalk with a wholesome profit prior to the release of film on October 1. Rumors are that until now Sun Pictures has sold out approximately for Rs.202 Crores and will reach an extremum of Rs.240 Crores.
Venus is reported to have acquired the Hindi rights have a big sum of Rs.50 Crores.
Meanwhile, the entire team of Sun Network is vigorously promoting the film by featuring cover stories in all its print network and teasers in satellite channels.
“Endhiran’ will be India’s first sci-fi thriller based on “Robot’ and has been produced at the cost of Rs.130 Crores.
The producers have also set up a special team to be vigilant over curbing down the piracy videos.
With Super Star Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachan in lead rolls, get starts rolling on September 8th at America.

This song is very unique becos its sung by Javid Ali and Chinmayi has given a different voice with lot of modulations and to her credit its really hard to find out that she has sung it.

This is the theme song of the movie.
I have never seen a music album of Rajini which has hi-tech lyrics for songs with trendy music. All songs are different and A.R.Rahman once again proved that he the best in Indian music. He has used both experienced and young singers to get his output and its been amazing. Eventhough i like all song my favourite one are "Kadal Anukkal" and "Puthiya Manidha"

Sun Pictures to Produce Superstar’s “ENDHIRAN”
Chennai, 17th Dec 2008... SUN TV Network Ltd One of India’s largest entertainment conglomerate today announced that it would be producing the movie titled “ENDHIRAN (The ROBOT)”. “ENDHIRAN” is India’s biggest project in terms of grandeur, splendor and Star Cast. It is Superstar Rajinikanth’s next live action movie.
This Multi crore project is to be directed by Shankar, Music is by AR Rahman and Aishwarya Rai stars along with Rajinikanth. The film will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and other languages by the end of next year.
Sun Pictures, the movie division of Sun TV Network Limited will be handling the production. This project promises to be the first of its kind in terms of CG (Computer Graphics), Special effects and Stunt Sequences. Top Notch technicians from Hollywood are being roped in for this movie making this project truly global.
Sun Pictures today officially announced the project with Superstar Rajinikanth, Mr.Shankar and Sun TV Network Limited’s Chairman and Managing Director Mr. Kalanithi Maran. Sun Pictures Chief Operating Officer Mr. W Hansraj Saxena and the cinematographer of the film Mr. Rathnavel were also present.
Mr. Kalanithi Maran said “This is a big moment for Sun Pictures as we feel this is going to be India’s biggest movie. We are very happy and proud to be associated with Superstar Rajinikanth, Shankar and A R Rahman. With this Sun Pictures shall scale greater heights internationally”.
